FIRST DAY OF OBSERVATION

Last JANUARY 28,2010,1:00 in yhe afternoon, I went to my cooperating school,DON GREGORIO C. YUMUL SR. Calantipayan Elementary School to conduct my FS observation.
I stayed their for 4 hours,and I enjoyed observing the GradeVI students,section one and two.after the discussion of my cooperating teacher,Mrs.Jacqueline Vizarra,in Filipino subject,we had a conversation regarding different techniques in terms of teaching,she also asked me the same questions in my FS 1,during our first semester,maybe she just want to talk to me.she gave tips on how to prepare LESSON PLAN and conduct a MICRO-TEACHING.She showed me the detailed lesson plan used in the local demonstration of her intern,named Eunice,I forgot the surename.Eunice used FOUR-PRONGED approach in her local demonstration,and I'm already familiar with that approach because we discussed it with Prof.Villasenor.

After the first subject in the afternoon, Ma'am Jacq.has no class,meaning she's vacant,that's why we had a conversation again and after that,she went to the canteen.as a part of my duty,I immediately fixed the rumbled chairs and swept the floor in a hurry,I took a picture of the visual aids used by maam Jacq. in her discussion,it's a simple MANILA PAPER.

As i observed in her discussion,the students were able to understand clearly the topic presented,I said so because they were able to make 20 sentences using the topic discussed.

Ma'am Jacq. told me that the next session and the following school days will not be a discussion proper but rather a review for the upcoming National Achievement Test,and other tests.she told me to wait for the FINAL DMONSTRATION of their interns.


In the next subject,I was tasked to read the sample questions in the NAT reviewer,50 items and I got tired reading thse questions,imagine 50 questions and it was multiple choice.I spent almost an hour to finish the task given to me,the highest score was 38 out of 50,and that was in a person of PAUL JOHN.

i made a promise that I will give 1 whole pad paper to the student who will have the highest score,so as I promised,I will give pad paper to Paul John when I go their again.
